Not at all. We specialize in meeting people where they are—whether you're coming back after a break or brand new to strength training, we’ll help you build from the ground up.

Comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude! We'll take care of the rest. Lifting shoes and belts are welcome but not required.

Our gym is just a few minutes from Tufts University and the Medford/Somerville line, with easy access from I-93. We’re conveniently positioned for lifters coming from Somerville, Arlington, Cambridge, and surrounding neighborhoods like Ball Square, Magoun Square, and Davis Square.
🚗 Parking: Free street parking is available right outside the gym.
