How do I schedule a consultation?
Schedule your consultation with us by filling out the contact form with all of your details, and we will contact you to schedule a consultation.
How long does it take to see results?
Results take time, but if you’re consistent, they will come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly; even in only 30 days, you may start to see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.
Do I get the chance to meet new friends?
Yes! We like to organize our fitness classes into small groups, as this allows you to meet others. We also frequently organize social events whether it's an outing to a soccer game, a trivia night at a bar and even a ski weekend.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
We’re proud to be the only woman-owned strength training and powerlifting gym in Boston. Our gym stands out with its welcoming atmosphere, from the friendly staff to the thoughtfully designed space. We foster a supportive, inclusive environment with no gatekeeping—just encouragement and community. Plus, we’ve got some pretty great snacks
How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?
Start with whatever you feel you can realistically commit to—consistency is key to building strong habits. For powerlifting, we recommend dedicating at least one workout each week to squat, bench, and deadlift, which typically means training three days a week. However, we’ll tailor a plan to fit your specific goals, lifestyle, and recovery needs, ensuring it aligns with your schedule and intensity preferences.
Do you provide water and snacks?
We drink the tap water as Medford water meets or surpasses all federal and state safety standards. There's also a snack bowl that we keep filled for everyone.
Do I have to be fit to join?
No way! Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any individual regardless of experience.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards and use an automated payment system through our gym's PushPress app.
What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?
Our programming is tailored to each client, but we typically start with dynamic stretching and a light weighted warm-up. The main focus of the session will be on one of the primary powerlifts—squat, bench, or deadlift—followed by accessory exercises to strengthen the supporting muscle groups. When time allows, we’ll finish with a cardio-based workout to round out the session.
Is there parking?
Yes! There is a parking lot attached to the building.
