2. Is this gym beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. Many of our members start with no prior lifting experience. Our coaches provide hands-on guidance, ensuring you build strength with proper form and confidence.
3. What is small group training, and how does it work?
Small group training combines the structure of personal training with the motivation of a group setting. Sessions are capped at 4–6 people, so you still get personalized coaching while training in a community atmosphere.
4. Do you offer powerlifting coaching?
Yes! Our Powerlifting Club is designed for lifters prepping for meets or anyone looking to build max strength in squat, bench, and deadlift. We also offer programming, coaching, and competition prep.
5. How much does membership cost?
Membership pricing varies depending on the type of training and frequency. We recommend scheduling a 15-minute consultation to walk through current options and find the best fit for your goals and budget.
6. When are your training sessions held?
We offer flexible morning, afternoon, and evening training slots throughout the week. Availability may vary by program, so reach out for a current schedule.
7. Do I need to be in shape to join?
Not at all. We specialize in meeting people where they are—whether you're coming back after a break or brand new to strength training, we’ll help you build from the ground up.
8. What should I bring to my first session?
Comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude! We'll take care of the rest. Lifting shoes and belts are welcome but not required.

Our gym is just a few minutes from Tufts University and the Medford/Somerville line, with easy access from I-93. We’re conveniently positioned for lifters coming from Somerville, Arlington, Cambridge, and surrounding neighborhoods like Ball Square, Magoun Square, and Davis Square.
🚗 Parking: Free street parking is available right outside the gym.
